1988 Spartan II with styling similar to the 1936 Mercedes 540K. This is NOT a kit car!! Factory built in 1986 on a brand new 1986 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 coupe with 4 seats, from the Spartan Motorcar Company in San Marcos Ca. They were very pricey cars 37 years ago, & used in some famous movies, & many big name celebrities owned a Spartan II stretched almost 2 feet, to 17 feet long, 126.5" wheelbase, 74.5" wide, & 54.5" high. Loaded with all the goodies like air conditioning, heater, power windows, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power seats, windows, upgraded stereo, full digital dash, 6 real chrome wire wheels, dual side spares-for show only, gray leather interior, removable see through tinted T-Tops, twin trumpet horns, dual fog lights, tinted windows, pinstripes, totally hand built, with original owners manual, copy of original Nissan warranty & even a smog report, so it has emission controls, same owner for the last 35 years! Always garaged indoors, & under a car cover. Lived in California since new in 1986. Titled in Bobs Classics Inc name as a 1988 SPTN for Spartan. Also has adjustable headrests & cruise control. Showing just 69,000 miles or just over 1800 miles per year, over 37 years. Very fun cars to drive of course & I doubt if you would ever see another Spartan II-designed by Ron Sparks, who designed the Clenet & Sparks Turbo cars.
