Here is the nicest Clenet we have ever had!! 1979 Clenet Series II Cabriolet, & # 6 of 250, with only 11,000 original miles!! , factory built by Clenet Coachworks, originally in Santa Barbara Ca, & hand built by Alain Clenet. they have the styling of the 30's Rolls & were built to compete with the Rolls Corniche market, & were not cheap at over $85,000. Today they would cost over $200k to build one. Many celebrities owned a Clenet, including Sylvester Stallone. These are heavy cars at over 4000 pounds & close to 19 feet long, 4 seats, fold down canvas top, 351 V8 Ford Windsor engine with 3 speed automatic, chassis & frames were built from a Lincoln Continental, Town Car, or Mercury. Full British leather interior, lambs wool carpets, Burl Walnut Rolls styled dash with in dash unique shifter, crystal ashtrays in front & rear, beautiful hand rubbed acrylic paint in black with dark maroon sides, rear mounted spare with cover, wood on running boards, etched side vent windows, & also the rear windows, air conditioning, power brakes, steering, locks, seats, windows etc etc. 6 real chrome wire wheels, with Clenet emblems in center, dual spotlights with stone guards, pinstripes, crystal Clenet hood ornament, radial wide white tires, large rear trunk, wood on rear continental kit, & trunk lid, tilt & cruise control, & more goodies, like original owners manual, etc. A super nice show car that was displayed in a casino for New Years Eve in 2017, & used mainly for parades.
