This is only our 3rd Centaur in over 12 years, so its a very rare car & 1 of only between 50 and 75 ever built. This is NOT a kit car, but a factory built Neo-Classic auto, built in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by American Classic Automotive Corp., & cost well over $60,000. new in 1981 & would cost around $85,000. to build today. Built on a brand new 1981 Pontiac Grand Prix, with a peppy 3.8 liter V6 engine, automatic tranny, power brakes, steering, windows, locks, antenna. thick suicide doors, full tan leather interior, burlwood dash, consol & matching steering wheel, am/fm/stereo w/cassette, 3700 pounds, so it rides great, real wire wheels, custom oval tag, twin fog lamps, & moving side cowl spot lights, twin trumpet horns, working side vents, & 2 piece hood, cool fold out rumble seat -all leather, with step on passenger side, tilt & cruise, air cond., & heater, 2 piece front windshield, 2 tone cream & light tan body, 15" radial tires & wheelbase is 108" long, tan top folds down behind a small lift up tonneau cover. this is a daily driver that is at home on major highways. has usual nicks, chips & scratches, but no body damage, & most of the metal is SOLID BRASS, so it will polish up, like a mirror-brass parts include the radiator shell, front & rear turn signals, rumble seat step, side vents & the full windshield frame !! will never rust !! also has a small rear trunk, to store small stuff, & you can also use the floor in the rumble seat.
