SORRY THIS CAR IS SOLD......
1957 "D" Type Jaguar replica from England. RHD, Jag engine Super Rare!! Black!!

This is our 1st & only "D" Type replica in 12 years & over 1200 cars sold. These were exact replicas of the famous million dollar plus D types that were built from 1955 to 1957, & the originals won Le Mans in 1955, 1956, & 1957, with many well known famous racers. These cars are super rare indeed & were built around 1990 by Ram Automotive Of England. The only other replicas I can see, being built, are from New Zealand,& all Aluminum bodies at around $150,000. each. This car is totally fiberglass, even down to the aluminum looking rivets all over. lots of interior & under hood aluminum & my photos dont do this car justice at all.looks much better in person.Right hand drive as it should be, & powered by a very peppy 4.2 liter 4200cc Jaguar 6 cylinder engine with 3 carbs & dual overhead cams, 4 speed gearbox, wrap around plexiglass windscreen & black fiberglass tonneau cover, that totally covers the passenger compartment, as in the originals, long nose version with large rear fin they are famous for, & has a racing gas cap hidden inside the fin, has a beautiful jet black custom paint job & black leather seats, with a nice wood steering wheel, jaguar emblems & a white # 16 on the hood, plexiglass headlight covers, full flip up front end-like on the E-Type Jags, rear trunk, E-type rear end, 5 point racing seat belts, Autometer tachometer & classic styled guages, & best of all, its titled as a 1967 Jaguar, which was used for many parts, so its exempt from all emissions hassles, in all states & Europe, since its now 37 years old already. This car would probably cost well over $80,000. now, to build. they only built 100 of the originals & they keep going up every year. serial # is 1E76938, & all these cars have super great road clearance & sit very high off the ground, which is great for daily driving-in fair weather of course. I doubt if we will ever see another one of these cars, since only a few replicas even exist, & most are still in Europe somewhere. Return to Bob's Classics, Inc. or What's In Stock.
