British Coach Works has always made the very best & most authentic 52 MGTD replicas of any companies out there. my favorite ones for sure. most folks, even at car shows, dont think its a replica. powered by a peppy 1600cc VW rear engine, with a 4 speed transmission, dual chrome exhaust tips, built in 1982 & titled as a 1982 ASVE, which means assembled vehicle, & has been stored inside, all its life & never seen rain. apart from the usual VW pan, the last owner designed & had installed a custom 1" steel tube sub frame with 3 cross members, so there would be no stress cracks anywhere-which there isn't at all. rare 2 tone maroon/ burgundy body with black fenders, cream interior, top, top boot & side curtains, grab bar on dash, wood steering wheel & dash, 4 Classic styled white face gauges, suicide doors, MG styled hub caps, even on the rear spare tire, seat belts, wipers, & can be used as a daily driver. we have only had a few from British Coach Works. very professionally built, & it really shows.  return to Bob's Classics, Inc. or What's In Stock.
