1936 Mercedes 500k Special Roadster -Super Rare- H.T. Price built-from the Classic Factory. only a few were ever built, around 1986., big block V8 Ford, automatic, air cond., real wires, wide whites, more authentic than the Heritage & cost $85,000. to build. only our 4th one in 15 years !!

This is the rarest of all the Mercedes 500k replicas by far, & the most authentic, compared to the Heritage models that we have sold over 100 to date. This is a rare HT Price car, from the Classic Factory, in California, & only a hand full were ever built. from around 1985 to 1987, I was told. This classic car is titled as a 1978 Ford and weighs 3750 pounds. these cars have custom paint jobs, not the gel coat finish as on all other replicas. also has a front windshield exactly like the 6 million dollar original. with only glass showing on top, with no fiberglass header bar, as on the Heritage cars, & a more authentic custom tan convertible top, authentic real chrome body side moldings & trim, suicide doors with nicer door handles, dual authentic looking antique trumpet horns, 2 piece metal hood, that even the sides open with the hood, for easier engine access-only found on the HT Price cars, has all Mercedes emblems on the rims, hood ornament & on the covered rear spare tire-no lift up trunk-same as originals, but has storage behind the seats real chrome wire wheels, & wide white tires, thick suicide doors, gray leather interior, headrests, seat belts, air conditioned & heater, power brakes & steering, heavy duty frame, am/fm/stereo with cassette, wood dash, door tops & steering wheel, & top disappears under a flip up tonneau cover, & powered by a very peppy Big Block Ford V8 engine with automatic transmission, power brakes & steering, & front disc brakes. side supercharger pipes, roll up windows, & enough room inside for taller folks. last owner was 6'4" tall & fit inside ok. I never thought we would ever see another of these, with almost none for sale anywhere. these cars were around $85,000. new & would probably cost over $125,000. to build today. they will surely go up in value every year, as the originals do.  Return to Bob's Classics, Inc. or What's In Stock.
